I’m not for everyone and am fairly selective in the people that I choose to work with one-on-one.
Over the years, I’ve worked with folks at all levels of their careers, from new graduates just starting out to multi-national CEOs. I’ve found that the best results emerge in working with with people who I’ve come to think of as ‘mature leaders.’
‘Mature leadership’ has less to do with age or experience and more to do with the capacity to engage with challenge, opportunity, and possibility from a place of curiosity, creativity and wonder.
From my experience, mature leaders tend to:
Integrate insights with ease, taking concrete steps towards change based on new information.
Take ownership and responsibility of their decisions.
Have previously worked with a coach and/or engaged in leadership development programs.
Have a desire to deepen their leadership capacity and feel like there’s ‘something missing’ from their toolbox or that there’s more available than traditional coaching has provided.
Be willing to explore breathwork and other non-linear practices as pathways to insight, transformation, and guidance.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect! The first step is to schedule a preliminary call using the form at the bottom of the page.

Working with Michael is like walking down a new path with a old friend. Each step forward is a genuine question to which you both discover the answer. Each step is one at a time, based on what you learned by taking the previous step, together because, and this is his deeply rooted ethic, he knows you will only take a true second step once you both discover what lies at the first, right then in that moment.

Michael is an alchemist, from helping transform your life narrative into a business mission statement to turning a personal challenge into a platform for growth.

At base level, my approach centers the needs, experience, and inherent wisdom of each client. While each engagement is different and never follows a set course, generally we’ll work at the intersection of head, heart, body, and spirit.
In any given session, we may work to reveal hidden parts of a leadership challenge, work with the breath to cultivate greater presence and connection, or explore creative exercises to find the deeper emotions and motivations lurking beneath a thorny issue.
My approach explicitly integrates somatic exploration, and energetic practices, and earth-based perspectives as pathways to insight. If you’re only comfortable in your head, we may not be a good fit.

I don’t offer refunds once we have agreed to work together. This is one of the reasons that a discovery call is so important.
A certain degree of resistance and feeling like it’s ‘not working’ is a normal and expected part of any coaching / transformational process. Once we have committed to our work together, part of the agreement is that, together, we move through the process.

Coaching engagements start with a minimum commitment of 3 months with sessions approximately every other week. You should expect to spend approximately an hour between sessions in reflection or completing ‘assignments’ to deepen the experience.

One of my pet peeves is coaches who are not up front about their rates.
My coaching packages start at $2,500 and include all sessions, support between sessions, resources, and customized recordings.
If we decide to work together, we’ll develop a coaching agreement that spells out the financial commitment and expected scope in a transparent way, including any explicit goals, payment terms, etc..
